Word Junction
Word Junction is available as a free web version (daily puzzle only) and as an iOS app (daily, practice, and Levels, with boosters and an optional subscription). Some FAQs below apply only to the iOS app — marked accordingly.
If you're signed in via iCloud, your level progress, stars, and coins should sync automatically across your own devices using the same Apple ID. If you weren't signed in, progress is stored on-device and won't transfer to a new install or device. Email us if you'd like help checking your sync status. (The web version doesn't save progress between devices/browsers.)
Each puzzle hides a fixed number of words. Scratching a letter breaks any word that uses it — sometimes more than one at once if words overlap. You have a limited number of scratches. The web daily puzzle shows your result on completion; the iOS app additionally awards stars based on how few moves you used, in Levels mode. Email us if a specific puzzle seems off and we'll take a look.
Hints and boosters (extra moves, skip) are earned through play or purchased with coins. Coins and boosters can only be used inside the iOS app and have no cash value. These features are not part of the web version.
An ad-free subscription is available from the in-app shop, which also unlocks additional benefits. Subscriptions are billed and managed through your Apple ID — go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel. There is no subscription on the web version.
Please email us with the date of the puzzle (for the Daily) or the level number (for Levels, iOS app only), plus what you saw and whether you're on web or iOS. Screenshots help a lot. We take puzzle fairness seriously and will investigate.
Currently, Levels, practice, boosters, and subscriptions are iOS-only. The web version offers the daily puzzle only. We may expand platform support in future — feel free to email us if this is something you'd like to see.
We'd love to hear it — email jonbee75@hotmail.com with your idea.
